About JCPL
Jackson County Public Library is one of four County libraries in the Panhandle Public Library Cooperative System (PPLCS). The other PPLCS libraries are: All of these Libraries offer services to patrons in all four counties and work together to meet the informational, cultural, recreational, and lifelong learning needs of all our residents.

The Library is funded by the Jackson County Commission and by the State, Federal, Foundation, and private grants. Individual gifts are also given to the Library for designated purchases and for general use.
The Jackson County Public Library (JCPL) is a Department of Jackson County Government and operates within the County structure and under the auspices of the Jackson County Board of Commissioners.
