Library Advisory Board
Library Advisory Board members are appointed by the Jackson County Commission. Each of the seven Board members is responsible for attending monthly meetings and keeping abreast of Library needs throughout the County. The Library Director and Library Board work closely to ensure the Marianna and Graceville Libraries and the Bookmobile are satisfactorily serving the informational, educational, cultural, and recreational needs of all Jackson County residents. |

- Board members support and champion the Jackson County Public Library.
- Board members help present the Jackson County Public Library needs to the County Commission.
- Board members provide advice, feedback, and community suggestions regarding Jackson County Public Library policies and plans.
- Board members encourage community awareness of the Library by serving as Library advocates and ambassadors.
- Board members work with the Library Friends to plan, publicize, and sponsor special programs and events.

A social gathering that gives English and non-English speakers a chance to network, practice speaking a variety of languages, and learn about our international community. In MariannaFirst and third Fridays every month. 8:30-10:00 a.m.
